Synopsis:
Vanja, a photographer who fled Bosnia as a teenager, is forced to visit her old and sick father in her former homeland after many years. The high summer atmosphere with her old friends by the river brings up old feelings. Does she, the lucky one who has a German passport, have to pull her childhood sweetheart out of the mess? And who is her father, a nationalist or patriot? Vanja has to find herself, in her two-part life: the German and the Bosnian.
