Ognjen Glavonic

Ognjen Glavonic was born in 1985 in Yugoslavia. His short films were selected in more than fifty international film festivals.

His first mid-length documentary, Zivan Makes a Punk Festival (2014), premiered at Cinéma du Réel. This film has been screened at more than forty international film festivals including Rotterdam (2015), CPH:DOX (2014), IndieLisboa (2015) and others.

His documentary Depth Two, premiered at the Berlinale Forum in 2016. It won best film awards at DokuFest Prizren, Message to Man St. Petersburg, OpenCity Docs London, Festival dei Popoli Firenze and Kassel Dokfest, among others

The Load, his first feature-length fiction film, premiered at the Directors’ Fortnight of the Cannes Film Festival 2018.

Ognjen was a member of the Jury for the Best First Feature Award at the Berlinale 2020.
